As most of you know each year around May 1st, the lock is changed to the fitness center. This year due to the issues of key copying, among other things, a card reader system will be installed to access the fitness center. The installation is now complete.
In order for you to access the fitness center you may borrow a card from the recreation center during operating hours or purchase a card. The cost for the card is $40. The purchase of the card is your choice so you may have 24/7 access to the fitness center. The cards must be purchased through Jennifer or Steve (the office). Also, only one card will be sold per lot. Activation of cards will only occur once the fee is paid, plus your account must be current. Cards will not be sold to your "additional access six list".
With this system I will be able to track usage and if need be talk with the cardholder about the usage. Like the other amenities, this facility is for you the lot owner and your approved list. Also, with this system the card can be “turned off” thus restricting access if the need arises.
If you prefer to borrow a card a current id must be left as collateral. Again, your account must be current.
Also, as a safety precaution, an emergency exit door has been installed at the end of the hallway near the bathrooms. It has a crash bar and is for emergency exits only. It is alarmed and cameras will be monitoring the interior and exterior of the doorway.
